Instrument now operational, shows current

time weighting and frequency weighting.

5. If necessary, press the switch again to return it to the outer

un-latched position to switch the instrument OFF.

6. If necessary, replace the cover and refasten the locking screw.

4.2 Installing and Removing the CEL-6012

Keypad

Install and remove the keypad as follows.

1. If necessary use the 1.5 mm Allen Key (038524 provided) to

retract the locking screw that frees the cover over the 15-line

connector and ON/OFF switch in the bottom of the instrument.

2. Slide the cover to the right, to give access for the keypad

connector.

3. If the instrument is to be used, switch it ON (see Section 4.1)

before installing the keypad.

4. With the keypad keys facing in the same direction as the

dosimeter display, carefully engage the keypad guides into the

side grooves of the dosimeter casing at the bottom of the instru-

ment.

5. Carefully slide the keypad as far on to the CEL-281 as it will go.

The plug and socket of the 15-line connectors are correctly

aligned and will engage automatically as the two items are

brought together.
