5. The floppy disk should now be entered into the disk drive and

the IBM computer switched on.

6. The display on the IBM will show "CEL393 DATA CAPTURE"

and "Output to Screen".

If data needs to be displayed on the screen, then press Y for

yes, otherwise N for no, likewise for output to printer.

7. If the data is to be stored to disk then answer Yes to the

prompt "Output to file" and type in a "file name" when asked.

At this point the display will show "Waiting for Data", therefore

operation of the CEL-393B will load data into the computer.

Operation with IBM Computer Following Field Data Acquisition with

CEL-393B

1. Do not switch CEL-393B OFF.

2. Follow step 1 above.

3. Switch the interface unit and the IBM PC ON.

4. Follow step 2 above.

5. Follow steps 5 and 6 above.

Caution

Do not interrogate the CEL-393B memory before

output to the IBM as this will result in loss of the first

line of the data stream.

Do not run the program until the interface has been

connected to both the IBM and CEL-393B, since this

will also lead to loss of data.
